The Electric Vehicle Homecharge Scheme (EVHS) provides those who qualify with up to 75% off the cost of purchasing & installing a home chargepoint. The grant is capped at £350 and is available for most electric and hybrid vehicles. You can check here if your vehicle qualifies under the scheme.

What is a Home Chargepoint?

A dedicated home chargepoint is a compact, weatherproof charging unit that is typically mounted on a wall at residential properties. Tethered units will have a charging cable connected to the unit and untethered units will have a socket to plug in a portable charging cable. The charging cable can then be plugged into your EV to charge.

Can I use a three pin plug to charge my EV?

Yes you can but most EV owners will do this as a last a resort as home charging units are more powerful. A three pin plug could take up to 17 hrs where as a chargepoint unit would take less than half of this.

Surveying your property enables us to supply you with a fair and accurate quote. We can then recommend which of our partners chargepoints best suit your requirements. They will also find the best position for your charger based on where your power supply is situated and where you park.

Following our survey, our team will share an estimate based on their findings. Once approved, we'll book in your installation within two weeks of estimate approval. After the installation is complete, our aftercare team will be on hand to answer any of your questions and help with your queries.
